At honeybee hippie, we believe that the sun is necessary and beneficial, however too much UV exposure to delicate skin can cause burning and premature aging. For those sunny days, we offer face the sun, an all natural tallow based with non-nano zinc to offer some protection and made with the finest ingredients the earth has to offer. 

While most sunscreens on the market are filled with toxic cancer-causing chemical ingredients, this powerhouse mixture of organic fats, antioxidants, oils and herbs offer all natural UV protection. In addition to helping prevent sunburns, this smooth, creamy formula will hydrate and nourish your skin to prepare it for frequent sun exposure. The oils and herbs added to this mixture are all photo-safe to help stave off oxidization, which causes premature skin damage and wrinkles. While the non-nano zinc oxide sits on the surface of your skin as armor against UV rays, the other fats, oils, and herbs will soak in to make your skin shine. Face the sun is non comedogenic and can be used on your face and body and is safe for infants. It is naturally tinted with Hawaiian astaxanthin (a powerhouse antioxidant 600x more than vitamin C) and organic herbs which help it blend into the skin without leaving a white cast.
