Bath + time = support of the rest and digest! Fat and the Moon is taking bath time to new depths with our trio of soaks. Our mineral-based soaks soothe muscles and hearts, and leave your skin soft and nourished. Exit the bath with a parasympathetic reset.

Let yourself open up to those parts that emerge and thrive when you take care of yourself. Scoop 2-3 heaping tablespoons into each bath and soak ‘til pruned. Use 1-2 tablespoons for the babes and kiddos.

Self Care: Self care is a practice. Make your Self Care Bath a ritual and a offering to YOU. Clary Sage and Lavender lend us their powers of opening and expanding.

The combo of Lavender & Clary Sage essential oils promote calm and help open the perspective horizon.

Soothe: For those hot and bothered skin situations soak yourself in some Soothe. This mix will chill the twinge of unhappy and itchy skin.

The milky plant starches of Oat along with a small dose of Rose Geranium essential oil soothe itchy and inflamed skin.

Under the Weather: A cozy soak for when you’re not feeling so hot. Under the Weather soothes the achy bod with mustard and the stellar combo of Eucalyptus, Rosemary, and Clove essential oils. Warming and opening.

When Mustard Seed, Clove and Eucalyptus hit hot water they stimulate circulation, and invigorate the senses. When blood flow gets going, the body is better able to detox and repair.

Shelf Life: Lasts 6 months. Store in a cool and dry place. Our products are organic and freshly made-to-order skin food. We do not use toxins that make things last forever.

Founding Story:

Continuing a legacy of herbalists and natural healers, Fat and the Moon founder Rachel Budde has built her company around providing handcrafted, herbal body care products to those seeking natural and effective alternatives to chemical-filled products. Like a witch over a cauldron, Budde experiments with age-old ingredients and recipes passed down from various healing traditions to craft innovatively simple products that are good for the body and the earth.

As an herbalist, Budde has a passion for plant bodies and human bodies. She sees the skin as the organ of our edge- the place where we meet the world. Our edges are the places we grow and change. Her purpose in birthing Fat and the Moon, is to provide intentionally made potions to support that fertile edge.
