HiBAR began with a shared vision and a determination to address a growing crisis: the staggering amount of plastic waste polluting our planet. In 2018, four friends—Nora, Jay, Ward, and Dion—came together to tackle the problem head-on, focusing their efforts where plastic is most prevalent but often overlooked: the bathroom.

After countless hours of trial and error, collaborating with hair care professionals, and rethinking traditional shampoo and conditioner, HiBAR was born. Their innovative solid shampoos and conditioners deliver salon-quality results without the need for plastic packaging.
